Emmett Phil Coriat is a pharmacist and has been a successful entrepreneur in healthcare innovation for more than 25 years, as a venture capitalist, a CEO/founder of biotech startups and most recently as a partner at AEC Partners, a leading strategic advisory boutique firm, where he leads the Healthcare Technological Innovation practice.

A couple of years ago, Emmett Phil found himself staring straight in the face of the deep « dis-connection » epidemic that is ravaging humanity.
After spending time with the Kichwa people of the Ecuadorian Amazon and withdrawing in Nature for over a year, he became certified as a Forest bathing guide and a Zhineng Qigong teacher with the mission to bring business leaders a novel scientifically-proven solution to the stress and burnout epidemic ravaging their them and their teams.
No healthcare innovation seemed more urgent to address. Yet, a whole industry kept either ignoring it or going about it the wrong way, with devastating results.

Emmett Phil holds an MBA from the London Business School (UK), a Pharmacy degree from University of Montreal and a diploma in Intellectual Property Management from McGill University.

Emmett Phil is certified as a Forest Therapy guide by California-based Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and as a Zhineng Qigong teacher by China’s Daohearts Foundation.

A nomad at heart, Emmett Phil started his career at L’Oréal. He holds dual Canadian-Spanish citizenship and has lived or worked in 6 countries.
